COCOA HUSK TEA
What is cocoa husk tea? When we make chocolate bars, we collect the outer shells of cacao beans and they are called cocoa husk. These husks can be used to make tea which created a drink with original taste and smell of the cocoa.
There are several benefits of cocoa husk tea - full of antioxidants, no caffeine & no sugar.
Recipe:
3g cocoa husk tea (about 1-2 teaspoons) *You can also add more husks for a richer flavor
200g hot water
Easy hot cocoa husk tea recipe:
Put 1-2 teaspoons of cocoa husk into a cup, add around 200ml of hot water, leave it for around 5 minutes. You can add some honey or sugar to give some sweetness.
Easy cold-brew cocoa husk tea recipe:
Put 2-4 teaspoons of cocoa husk into a cup, add around 200ml of cold water. Cover the cup and put into fridge. Enjoy with some ice, you can add some tonar water and honey to make a special cocoa husk drink.
